Our Terms And Conditions.

You will receive an acknowledgement from A Class Drivers by email, confirming your booking / quote request.

You are ultimately responsible for checking that the details provided by you to A Class drivers for your airport transfer or long distance journey with us, are correct, as it is your information given that dictates the quote. Misinformation could lead to extra charges, possible delays, incorrect journey plans and even an unsuitable vehicle for your needs being booked.

You will manually receive your detailed travel description email when your transfer has been assigned to a driver and vehicle, please check that the details are again correct.

This will also contain the pick up instructions and the driver’s telephone number.

A Class Drivers will check your flight numbers and details to monitor times and determine a timely pick up.

We advise passengers to plan to arrive at the airport at the very least 2 hours prior to flight departure to allow for possible unpredicted delays, this advice should also be sought from the Airport that you are flying from.

A Class Drivers do not accept any responsibility in any way for missed flights for whatever reason
i.e. traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns, severe weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

A Class Drivers will not take responsibility for any passengers missing their flight if two hours check in time was not allowed. You are free of course to arrange to get to the airport for a time of less than 2 hours prior to flight departure, however A Class Drivers accepts no responsibility for any missed flight due to this.

All passengers are advised to have adequate travel insurance prior to booking.

Please ensure you give us your arrival times and day in to the UK,  and not your departing information.

If your flight has any serious delays please inform us or the driver as soon as possible.

A Class Drivers use their own vehicles wherever possible but do use third party companies when necessary and appropriate.

No responsibilities for costs are to be refunded to any passengers who do not wait for their driver and take alternative transport.

If your flight is cancelled, we will do our utmost to help you. Please note that the Airport is ultimately responsible for all costs, and possibly your travel insurance company. A Class Drivers will try their very best to help you, bear in mind that costs should be thought through carefully and all other associated costs. If A Class Drivers are busy, we may not be able to help. The cost of a Taxi from London could be as high as 10 times the price of A Class Drivers airport transfers.

Pricing Policy:

Prices are calculated manually with the distance, time of travel and amount of luggage and passengers travelling taken into consideration.

Drivers will travel by the most convenient and expedient route (within reason) unless specifically instructed to the contrary by their client

A Class Drivers adopt a non-smoking policy in each of their vehicles.

We reserve the right to provide an upgraded car type from the original selected if your chosen vehicle is unavailable.

A Class Drivers accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any luggage / property carried in their vehicles, irrespective of the manner in which the loss / damage is sustained.

A Class Drivers will require a small deposit to guarantee most bookings which is refundable up until 48 hours before time of pick up. Any cancellations made within 48 hours of pick up time, deposits will not be refunded.

* 25% cancellation charge if notified of cancellation more than 6 hours before scheduled hire.
* 50% cancellation charge if notified of cancellation between 3 and 6 hours’ before scheduled hire.
* 100% cancellation charge if notified of cancellation within 3 hours of scheduled hire or if no notification is received.

Cancellation Policy:
A Class Drivers will accept any cancellation made as long as there is at least 48 hours notice
However there will be a £7 or 10% (whichever is higher) administration / transaction charge.
Also we will give a full refund if paid by cash as long as there is at least 48 hours notice.
The cancellation must be made via an email to which you will receive confirmation by us.
If you do not receive an email from A Class Drivers confirming the cancellation, we have not received it.

In extenuating circumstances A Class Drivers reserve the right to make alterations to these periods of notices and charges at the discretion of A Class Drivers and the individual customer.

Refunds:
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances: No refund is made if the passenger does not show up for pre-paid journeys.
No refund is made for cancellation of a booking on the day of travel or afterwards.
All other circumstances where a refund may be possible should be addressed directly with
A Class Drivers customer services.

Reservations made for service on the following timings and dates will be subject to an additional 50% surcharge on published prices:

18:00 24th December to 23:59 26th December, 18:00 31st December to 23:59 1st January, other days may also be affected.

Airport Transfers Waiting Time:
We do not charge for the 1st hour’s waiting time after the plane has landed.
Waiting time charges start once the 1st hour has elapsed from when the aircraft has landed and will be charged,
regardless of reason, at £30/hr pro Rata. Parking charges at airports can be costly to the driver and will be charged on top of waiting time.

*Waiting time for other journeys other than airport transfers, ie; our long distance taxi services will differ as these costs will have been graduated into a bespoke travel arrangement and agreed prior to booking with the customer.

Tolls, Congestion Charges & ULEZ charges:
Tolls are included and considered in each quote.

Blue Badge Holders:
If you are a blue badge holder please could you bring your blue badge with you so we can use disabled parking legally for you. (only for disabled customers).

Amendment Policy:
Any amendment must be made via an email or by telephone to us to which you will receive an email or text confirming the amendment.
Amendments must not be made with your driver.

Re-Booking Policy
All bookings must be made through the office via the website, telephone, text or e-mail.
In this way confirmations are sent out and the journey is insured. It is against the law for private hire drivers to accept journeys directly.
Bookings must be made through A Class Drivers directly.

Cancellation Policy:
